Clayton SPEAKS!!!

Yes, Constitutional Clayton went on Facebook yesterday and had a few things to say:

Wow.  Mr. Kelly, since your lawyer obviously has not explained to you how the process works, I will attempt to do so.  Your case has not been presented to a grand jury.  The charges can change when that takes place. What is sad is you seem to think there is nothing wrong with what you did.  While you are shooting your mouth off why don't you try saying these words: "I'm sorry".

Apparently you think nothing of sneaking into St. Catherine's Village into an old woman's room, an old woman who is bedridden and a vegetable, and taking her picture and splicing it into a video.  Maybe that wasn't "legal" exploitation but there is no question you exploited her.  What is sad is you put the welfare of your wife and daughter at risk.  Since you probably are not listening to your lawyer, perhaps you will listen to me: SHUT UP!!!  You hurt yourself every time you open your mouth before trial.  Period.  But then, if you had any sense, you would not be in this predicament, would you?

Damn, you are stupid.

He says in his post, "This is all for one man's political gain."

I wonder if he knows which one.

Constitutional tinky winky has a sad. He's too fuc*ing stoopid to know just how f*cked he really is.

Everyone gets dumber just by reading his drivel.

Here's what's really scary, these people almost won!! When I think about that nightmare and how these people would have felt empowered and emboldened, it makes me want to spit nails in Josh's, Austin's, and Henry's direction. These idiots, who only care about enriching themselves almost unleashed these crazy people on our state for what would have been SIX years. Think about for a moment and let that sink in.

Mayfield has already taken his plea deal - except before a different judge.

Guest is playing this just right so far. If this idiot and his idiot lawyer cling to the belief the exploitation charge won't fly, Guest does have the option of indicting for burglary IF there is proof Clayton had to open the door at all. Burglary of a dwelling carries 3 to 25 years. Wonder if orange is a good color for him?

Clayton Kelly is the embodiment of the axiom "You can't fix stupid!

Anonymous said...

My guess is that this will all end up with a misdemeanor if anything when it is all said and done. Meanwhile Lott lobbies for the Russians, Cochran will dance for whoever pulls his strings, and Haley continues to rake money in on K Street. McDaniel obviously wasn't the candidate to win it and the tactics used were atrocious, but the good ole boy club still needs to go.

Anonymous said...

Can we all chip in just another $25 bucks for the fight....or for his soap on a rope...

Anonymous said...

I'm just asking - doesn't burglary have to include removing something material from the premises? Otherwise it's just breaking & entering, isn't it?

Anonymous said...

Yeah, fight your legal battles on Facebook without heed to what your lawyer might suggest. Just confirms what we already knew. Get these folks out from behind a computer and all you have is an empty shell.

I challenge everybody to go over to McD's FB page and find ONE just ONE comment against this guy. That is extremely scary. For some reason they all seem to think it was ok to do this to show the world how immoral Thad is. How pathetic. Yet they all harp on how the Barbours and Thad should be in jail. No mention of anyone else. I truly think had this idiot not done what he did, that McDaniel might have been elected outright on June 3rd. So I guess we all do owe him a little tad of gratitude!

11:51...i think you should thank Josh, Austin and Henry since they are the ones that led the charge to defeat McDaniel in the runoff.

1:30 pm

Burglary is breaking in with the intent to commit a crime. Any crime. Stealing is just the usual crime.

Anonymous said...

to 1:30 you are incorrect. if you manipulate any door or window or other means of entry by moving it or any doorknob or fixture attached to it to a dwelling where you have no right to be in with the intent to commit some crime [any crime, felony or misdemeanor], its burglary of a dwelling under the Miss. statute. the underlying crime would be exploitation, whether a misdemeanor or a felony.

Anonymous said...

@1:30. The typical elements of the crime of burglary are: (1) The breaking; (2) and entering; (3) of a dwelling house; (4) of another; (5) with the intent to commit a felony therein. Nothing has to be taken. Prosecutor must establish BARD that accused "intended" to commit a felony. Otherwise, the crime falls to a lesser included.

Well said, KF.

Apparently, he doesn't even yet realize that he was a pawn because they knew he wasn't bright.

He's mad at the wrong people, starting with the one in the mirror!

Anonymous said...

2:16 - wrong. when its a dwelling its any crime. for buildings other than a dwelling it does have to be a felony or intent to steal. See: Section 97-17-23[1]burglary of a dwelling "...to commit some crime therein..." and Section 97-17-33 burglary of building other than dwelling "...with intent to steal therein, or to commit any felony..."

bill for time and expenses to follow!

I like how a man who started a blog with the nom de plume of "Constitutional Clayton" uses two different spellings for "burglary" in the same list - yet neither is correct. I can only shiver at what his role in a McDaniel Senate office would have been.

This whole thing is still confusing to me...taking a photo of a helpless senior citizen is a crime against humanity, however, abandoning her and screwing around on her for twenty years is no big deal

Anonymous said...

@9:44 Pappy:

False equivalency. Also, the only place I've ever heard of "screwing around" is on CMcD pages. Even if that were the case, that's none of your business. You don't know their arrangement. Why are fundies such Gladys Kravitz's ? Mind the plank in your eye.

Thad has provided for her to receive care in the best facility in the state where her family lives. Since you're obviously totally ignorant and uninformed, let me school you about Alzheimer disease. It is a progressive, neurodegenerative disorder with no cure that eventually and inevitably leads to death. The typical time to death after diagnosis is 5 - 7 years. She has lived at St. Catherine's since 2000, so she has survived about double most patient's expected time. That is a tribute to the superb care he has arranged for them to provide. Obviously he has taken seriously that whole "in sickness and in health", "til death do us part" promise in his marriage vows.

Have you done anything similar for your wife? I am sure she has not recognized him in several years, yet he continues to provide care for his terminally ill wife. This is what we all hope our spouse would do should we become ill like this, but he "walks the walk" without drawing attention to himself. She is fortunate to have a devoted husband who provides the best available care for a wife who no longer knows where, or who, she is.

Like the candidate you idolize, you keep making slanderous accusations without providing one bit of proof.

I have. And as spouse, I made sure my S/O was close to me. Meaning, if I lived in VA, my S/O would be in VA....probably in my home....with a 24 hour nurse.

Now Cochran decided otherwise. Because there isn't quality healthcare in VA? I dunno about you, but I suspect that this is not correct? That the health insurance given to the elite politicians wouldn't pay for services as described above? Doubt that too.

You assert that he is keeping her here in MS to be close to family. Fair enough. What I have never seen reported is how often he comes to see her. Sure, she may or may not recognize him, but is it okay to abandon your spouse? I had to say "for better or for worse". Surely, her condition makes it "worse" and keeping a mistress on the side earning $$$ on the side as a landlord is "more better".

/simply a guy that questions the narrative from the Cockran defenders

//does anybody think Clayton is going to get a fair trial in Madison? I don't.

The lengths the Cochran cult will go to justify his adultery never cease to amaze. Thad's is somehow a virtuous approach and that makes everything fine.

Anonymous said...

I don't believe you 6:17 am

The reason I don't is that if you had a spouse with Alzheimer's you'd know the disease progresses differently in different patients.

And, you'd know more about the details of patient care.

You'd know that there is a point at which in home care is not always possible.

And, either you don't have children or didn't give a crap about how they might feel or whether or not they were more available to meet your wife's personal needs.

Who'd you get to buy your wife's clothes and toiletries or read to her while you were working? Who'd you get to cut her hair and manicure her nails?

If you aren't lying, I am so sorry that your wife was in the care of someone who thought they knew everything and didn't bother to find out anything!

How about some specifics about the equipment you needed for in home care? Which failing function caused your wife's death? What did she forget how to do and how did you address that? Did you have a 24 hour nurse on hand or was she just an LPN?

I have yet to meet a spouse of family of an Alzheimer's patient who can keep them continuously at home...rich or poor...until " death they do part". You'd be the first.

6:18 am That the McDaniel supporters think they are without sin and can sit in judgment never ceases to amaze me! You all seem to ignore that bearing false witness is also one of The Ten Commandments! You seem to ignore that David and Abraham and Judah were adulterers or that it was OK in the Bible for men to use prostitutes but the prostitutes weren't so lucky. All those conveniently ignored verses in the Bible about when to stone or kill adulterers ( just like the radical Islamists still do) can be conveniently overlooked by you in your superiority because... why?
The Bible has something to say about Christians who are " puffed up" and " holier than thou" but I expect you conveniently ignore those passages as well!

The real tragedy of this entire election is that a goober like McDaniel was the one to come forward to challenge Cochran. Cochran seriously needed to be retired, and he probably desired to be. But even a guy who is asleep at the wheel with the fat cats steering him any direction they please is preferable to a lunatic who has made no meaningful contribution to the state government where he serves.

It would be one thing for Thad to be in a long-term involvement with someone.

But the all-too-obvious efforts at subterfuge to deny their relationship plus the complicity by Mississippi Republican leaders and their lapdog media to keep what is no secret in DC out of the Mississippi public eye hurts him (and them) far more than it helps.

Where I draw the line is having any member of Congress, from any party, game the system by having his significant other serve as a paid staff member specifically to take advantage of the taxpayer paid international travel perks available to a United State Senator.

As long as she is on his DC payroll Kay Webber is going to be a problem for the Mississippi GOP.

Adams County voter said...

Notice that Chrissie himself isn't making these charges about Thad and the alleged affair. Guess he does follow that Bible verse about 'those without sin should throw the first stone'.

You talk about what "is known throughout DC". What about what "is known throughout the MS State Capitol"?

Anonymous said...

Who the F cares about Kay Webber??!!

Well, if you knew anything about dementia, which you don't, you would know that dementia patients suffer when their surroundings are changed. They can freak out when suddenly they are in an environment they dont' recognize and they don't get over it in a day or two either. I don't blame them at all for not moving her.

Depending on the level of care needed, it often isn't possible to keep an Alzheimer's patient at home, even with round the clock nursing. But the fact that the critics know little to nothing about Ms. Cochran's situation doesn't seem to keep them from spouting off and displaying their ignorance. It seems that making unsubstantiated allegations are how they operate. Seems to be pretty much the way McDaniel has operated too.

Trollfest '09

Trollfest '07 was such a success that Jackson Jambalaya will once again host Trollfest '09. Catch this great event which will leave NE Jackson & Fondren in flames. Othor Cain and his band, The Black Power Structure headline the night while Sonjay Poontang returns for an encore performance. Former Frank Melton bodyguard Marcus Wright makes his premier appearance at Trollfest singing "I'm a Sweet Transvestite" from "The Rocky Horror Picture Show." Kamikaze will sing his new hit, “How I sold out to da Man.” Robbie Bell again performs: “Mamas, don't let your babies grow up to be Bells” and “Any friend of Ed Peters is a friend of mine”. After the show, Ms. Bell will autograph copies of her mug shot photos. In a salute to “Dancing with the Stars”, Ms. Bell and Hinds County District Attorney Robert Smith will dance the Wango Tango.

Wrestling returns, except this time it will be a Battle Royal with Othor Cain, Ben Allen, Kim Wade, Haley Fisackerly, Alan Lange, and “Big Cat” Donna Ladd all in the ring at the same time. The Battle Royal will be in a steel cage, no time limit, no referee, and the losers must leave town. Marshand Crisler will be the honorary referee (as it gives him a title without actually having to do anything).

Meet KIM Waaaaaade at the Entergy Tent. For five pesos, Kim will sell you a chance to win a deed to a crack house on Ridgeway Street stuffed in the Howard Industries pinata. Don't worry if the pinata is beaten to shreds, as Mr. Wade has Jose, Emmanuel, and Carlos, all illegal immigrants, available as replacements for the it. Upon leaving the Entergy tent, fig leaves will be available in case Entergy literally takes everything you have as part of its Trollfest ticket price adjustment charge.

Donna Ladd of The Jackson Free Press will give several classes on learning how to write. Smearing, writing without factchecking, and reporting only one side of a story will be covered. A donation to pay their taxes will be accepted and she will be signing copies of their former federal tax liens. Ms. Ladd will give a dramatic reading of her two award-winning essays (They received The Jackson Free Press "Best Of" awards.) "Why everything is always about me" and "Why I cover murders better than anyone else in Jackson".

In the spirit of helping those who are less fortunate, Trollfest '09 adopts a cause for which a portion of the proceeds and donations will be donated: Keeping Frank Melton in his home. The “Keep Frank Melton From Being Homeless” booth will sell chances for five dollars to pin the tail on the jackass. John Reeves has graciously volunteered to be the jackass for this honorable excursion into saving Frank's ass. What's an ass between two friends after all? If Mr. Reeves is unable to um, perform, Speaker Billy McCoy has also volunteered as when the word “jackass” was mentioned he immediately ran as fast as he could to sign up.

In order to help clean up the legal profession, Adam Kilgore of the Mississippi Bar will be giving away free, round-trip plane tickets to the North Pole where they keep their bar complaint forms (which are NOT available online). If you don't want to go to the North Pole, you can enjoy Brant Brantley's (of the Mississippi Commission on Judicial Performance) free guided tours of the quicksand field over by High Street where all complaints against judges disappear. If for some reason you are unable to control yourself, never fear; Judge Houston Patton will operate his jail where no lawyers are needed or allowed as you just sit there for minutes... hours.... months...years until he decides he is tired of you sitting in his jail. Do not think Judge Patton is a bad judge however as he plans to serve free Mad Dog 20/20 to all inmates.

Trollfest '09 is a pet-friendly event as well. Feel free to bring your dog with you and do not worry if your pet gets hungry, as employees of the Jackson Zoo will be on hand to provide some of their animals as food when it gets to be feeding time for your little loved one.

Relax at the Fox News Tent. Since there are only three blonde reporters in Jackson (being blonde is a requirement for working at Fox News), Megan and Kathryn from WAPT and Wendy from WLBT will be on loan to Fox. To gain admittance to the VIP section, bring either your Republican Party ID card or a Rebel Flag. Bringing both and a torn-up Obama yard sign will entitle you to free drinks served by Megan, Wendy, and Kathryn. Get your tickets now. Since this is an event for trolls, no ID is required. Just bring the hate. Bring the family, Trollfest '09 is for EVERYONE!!!

This is definitely a Beaver production.
