No apologies.

Someone called in to WJNT Friday to push the birth certificate crap yet again. I had enough after awhile and called him a kook. I don't regret doing so. I think this video says it all.

The ones who don't challenge the chosen one are the kooks. I guess I should call WJNT and tell them.

When facts get in the way of a perfectly good preconceived notion, crap happens. Interesting contrast with the other 2008 candidate (McCain) who was born in the Canal Zone, definitely not part of the US.

I guess you graduated from Jackson Public Schools. Otherwise you would have known that, until Jimmah Carter gave it away, the Panama Canal Zone was considered a part of the United States. When McCain, and all other military family members, was born there, he was born in a territory of the United States. Whether Obama was, or was not, using McCain's Canal Zone birth in order to make your point about other Presidential candidates birthplace is inaccurate.

I'm sure Obama has nothing to hide; that's why it's okay for him to hide all the stuff he's been hiding. I, for one, will not try to look behind the curtain. I don't want to be labeled a "kook."

I think...I agree with what's being said...my problem with BHO isn't where he was born...it's everything he and his are doing to destroy the fabric of the country. Like it or not, we're a center right country and the only reason he exists is that the country was a disgusted with the Clinton's as they were with the Bush's and BHO just happened to be in the right place at the right time. He and his presidency is beyond disaster. I'm an R but could handle a "normal" D like Clinton or Kwesse Mfume (this has nothing to do with color), not this complete fraud...regardless of where he was born.

The man you labeled a "kook" is a decorated veteran of WWII. He, of all people, has every right to question the authenticity of the Supreme Commander of the United States Armed Forces. Did you serve?

Anonymous said...

Kenny Stokes had more real world experience than Obama.

2:45...SO WHAT.

Being a decorated veteran of any war does not give you the right to deny reality. Being a veteran certainly demands respect for their service, but that does not mean everything a veteran says is sane. Any person who still questions the President's birth is kook, and there is no doubt about that.

Am I the only one that when I see "kooks" all I can think of are headers?

Anonymous said...

Headers or head jobs, Stilleto?

stilettoGOP said...

No, actual headers. I've got a set of long tubes on my Christmas list.

(that still sounded weird didn't it?)

Spoken like the little Obamabot that you are. It's a safe bet that you have never had an original thought in your short, privileged little life. Being a decorated vet may not, in your myopic little view, mean much. But, if you had an ounce of intellect, it would, at the very least, give morons such as yourself, at least a small hint that this person has lived a long life, and just might have something to say worth listening to. Perhaps, if you live long enough, you will achieve some degree of critical thought, and abandon you're apparent acceptance of what you have been told. Obama may, or may not, have been born in Hawaii, but, you do not have any true proof that that is the case.

How did this slide downhill into a discussion of the value of military veterans? Every period of conflict has produced 'kooks', some in uniform, some not.

While I am in the column of those who question his eligibility to run for the office, I'm much more concerned that 'we' elected a man with utterly zero credentials. And I really hate to think its possible that the reason we do stupid shit like that is because we 'get disgusted with people like the Clintons and the Bushes'.

Personally, my wearing a military uniform does not inform my thoughts about this topic. Nor does it grant me the right to discuss it more or less freely than others. I think an intelligent, reasoned person can still honestly question the President's citizenship. If one believes the "birth certificate" he released the day before Corsi's book hit the market, then it is the first document regarding his nativity and citizenship in the public domain. There are so many others that remain hidden. Why?

Summary if the Obama Birth Certificate Issue:

The United States of America does not issue birth certificates declaring anyone a citizen.

States follow their own laws in issuing birth certificates.

Hawaii is a state.

Hawaii issued Barack Obama a birth certificate.

The US Supreme Court has not defined "natural born citizen" as used in the US Constitution.

Finally, and most importantly, this is not an issue. Concentrate on something that really matters, like fascism in the US government.

The book "Good to Great" is about businesses, but includes one reason for success that comes into play. They called it the Stockdale Paradox. To succeed, in addition to having faith in our ability to obtain an envisioned outcome, one must have a realistic view of the brutal facts.

Loath him or not, there is no solace in declaring him a foreigner. I have confidence that the FBI did their job before the event. A mid-level federal security clearance requires a life history of all residences and jobs including certification of birth. FBI agents confirmed everything. All the federal politicians must go through this same FBI background security check. He was eligible and he won the election.

Many of us were the brunt of this Birth Certificate political joke. Many swallowed this bait. Kingfish's Stewart video helps us all to close this non-issue in appropriate smart-aleck fashion.

P.S. The video makes me want to put a burning bag of dog stuff on Lou Dobbs doorstep, ring the doorbell, and run. A bunch of crap.

Trollfest '09

Trollfest '07 was such a success that Jackson Jambalaya will once again host Trollfest '09. Catch this great event which will leave NE Jackson & Fondren in flames. Othor Cain and his band, The Black Power Structure headline the night while Sonjay Poontang returns for an encore performance. Former Frank Melton bodyguard Marcus Wright makes his premier appearance at Trollfest singing "I'm a Sweet Transvestite" from "The Rocky Horror Picture Show." Kamikaze will sing his new hit, “How I sold out to da Man.” Robbie Bell again performs: “Mamas, don't let your babies grow up to be Bells” and “Any friend of Ed Peters is a friend of mine”. After the show, Ms. Bell will autograph copies of her mug shot photos. In a salute to “Dancing with the Stars”, Ms. Bell and Hinds County District Attorney Robert Smith will dance the Wango Tango.

Wrestling returns, except this time it will be a Battle Royal with Othor Cain, Ben Allen, Kim Wade, Haley Fisackerly, Alan Lange, and “Big Cat” Donna Ladd all in the ring at the same time. The Battle Royal will be in a steel cage, no time limit, no referee, and the losers must leave town. Marshand Crisler will be the honorary referee (as it gives him a title without actually having to do anything).

Meet KIM Waaaaaade at the Entergy Tent. For five pesos, Kim will sell you a chance to win a deed to a crack house on Ridgeway Street stuffed in the Howard Industries pinata. Don't worry if the pinata is beaten to shreds, as Mr. Wade has Jose, Emmanuel, and Carlos, all illegal immigrants, available as replacements for the it. Upon leaving the Entergy tent, fig leaves will be available in case Entergy literally takes everything you have as part of its Trollfest ticket price adjustment charge.

Donna Ladd of The Jackson Free Press will give several classes on learning how to write. Smearing, writing without factchecking, and reporting only one side of a story will be covered. A donation to pay their taxes will be accepted and she will be signing copies of their former federal tax liens. Ms. Ladd will give a dramatic reading of her two award-winning essays (They received The Jackson Free Press "Best Of" awards.) "Why everything is always about me" and "Why I cover murders better than anyone else in Jackson".

In the spirit of helping those who are less fortunate, Trollfest '09 adopts a cause for which a portion of the proceeds and donations will be donated: Keeping Frank Melton in his home. The “Keep Frank Melton From Being Homeless” booth will sell chances for five dollars to pin the tail on the jackass. John Reeves has graciously volunteered to be the jackass for this honorable excursion into saving Frank's ass. What's an ass between two friends after all? If Mr. Reeves is unable to um, perform, Speaker Billy McCoy has also volunteered as when the word “jackass” was mentioned he immediately ran as fast as he could to sign up.

In order to help clean up the legal profession, Adam Kilgore of the Mississippi Bar will be giving away free, round-trip plane tickets to the North Pole where they keep their bar complaint forms (which are NOT available online). If you don't want to go to the North Pole, you can enjoy Brant Brantley's (of the Mississippi Commission on Judicial Performance) free guided tours of the quicksand field over by High Street where all complaints against judges disappear. If for some reason you are unable to control yourself, never fear; Judge Houston Patton will operate his jail where no lawyers are needed or allowed as you just sit there for minutes... hours.... months...years until he decides he is tired of you sitting in his jail. Do not think Judge Patton is a bad judge however as he plans to serve free Mad Dog 20/20 to all inmates.

Trollfest '09 is a pet-friendly event as well. Feel free to bring your dog with you and do not worry if your pet gets hungry, as employees of the Jackson Zoo will be on hand to provide some of their animals as food when it gets to be feeding time for your little loved one.

Relax at the Fox News Tent. Since there are only three blonde reporters in Jackson (being blonde is a requirement for working at Fox News), Megan and Kathryn from WAPT and Wendy from WLBT will be on loan to Fox. To gain admittance to the VIP section, bring either your Republican Party ID card or a Rebel Flag. Bringing both and a torn-up Obama yard sign will entitle you to free drinks served by Megan, Wendy, and Kathryn. Get your tickets now. Since this is an event for trolls, no ID is required. Just bring the hate. Bring the family, Trollfest '09 is for EVERYONE!!!

This is definitely a Beaver production.
